Roswitha (Dry at last)

Dry at last. It really did come out pretty. It will be hanging out over at the Verb For Keeping Warm shop if anyone is in that direction and wants to see it in person. I will wear my Miralda Shawl to Stitches West so that the folks at Verb can display this if they want to. On to the next project and my pile of UFO's :-)

Dear Clumsy Knitter,

Thank you! The colors are more visable now that it's dry :-)

Dear Paivl Lankakomero,

Thank you! It came out even better than I thought it would :-)

Dear Rachel,

I love alpaca because the drape is always really wonderful and I think that the yarn from Verb is my favorite for this type of lace as long as the pattern is not any longer than this one.

Well, I said it before, but a few more Incredibles and Exquisites never hurt, rigtht?

I didn't think it could look more beautiful but it does. A glorious shawl!

LOVE it!!! Really amazed by the size, the perfect subtle colour (it's there, but not in your face).

This is really expert lace knitting. Was it fun to knit too??

Dear fleegle,

I appreciate all the encouragement. You do such beautiful and unique work that it’s always great to hear that you like something I’ve knit. Now if I could only knit a bit faster...

Dear Amanda,

Thank you! I love how the colors come through once it dries :-)

Dear MoniqueB,

I love using hand dyed yarn. I’m pretty spoiled to using anything else. I’m glad you love it. I know I do :-) It really was fun to knit. I enjoy seeing the leaves and flowers take shape.

This shawl is really quite incredible. I applaud your stick-to-it-tiveness. 3500 yards is quite a long haul! Congratulations! Emily

Dear Sandy,

Thanks! I have a really old digital camera that is starting to go a little strange on me but these pictures did come out well because they were taken outside in natural light. I love your work too so it's nice to hear that you like mine :-)
